Why this prompt works

Calling for watercolor and gouache textures with visible brush strokes and paper grain steers the model toward an authentic hand-painted picture-book feel, explicitly not cartoon, anime or 3D. The minimalist composition with large negative space and muted pastels supports the calm, open-ended mood it asks for.

Variations to try

·Change the two children to a child with an animal companion.
·Shift the muted pastel palette toward warm autumn tones.
·Add a single visual metaphor like a long shadow or reflection.
